Pine Nut Sauce

Comments: Serve over chilled fish, such as poached salmon
1 | cup | water |
2 | (1 oz. )slices | white bread, crusts removed |
1/2 | cup | pine nuts |
3 | tbl. | fresh lemon juice |
1/4 | tea. | salt |
1/8 | tea. | white pepper |
1 | clove | garlic, crushed |
3 | tbl. | clam juice |
- Place 1 cup water in a shallow dish. Dip bread into water and remove; squeeze bread to remove excess moisture.
- Combine bread, pine nuts, lemon juice, 1/4 tea. salt, pepper and garlic in a food processor.
- With the processor on, slowly pour clam juice through food chute, and process until smooth.
